About us...

Leominster Art Center & Gallery (LACG) is a group of artists working together under the City of Leominster's nonprofit organization; City Wide, City Pride. Every two years, members volunteer and vote for a new Board of Directors. This is made up of at least five people who take the main responsibility of important decision-making and event-planning on behalf of the group.

LACG supports all the arts including (but not limited to) painting, sculpture, jewelry-making, woodworking, music, and quilting. The gallery itself is run by volunteers who sell the displayed pieces made by local artists. Approved artists may host classes to the community as well as suggested and/or hosted events. LACG participates in Leominster's downtown events such as the Summer Stroll, Ladies Night Out, Winter Stroll, and the Festival of Trees to name a few.

We are also known for showcasing local musical talent at our First Fridays, helping these artist with experience and opportunities.  We are happy to share the unbelievable musical talent also in the area and hope to continue to do so.

We will also be offering newly emerging artist assistance in learning about marketing and sales, help students put together portfolios for college entrance...a type of entreprenurship program to help younger artists grow and learn how to promote themselves and present their work.

This is all made possible by countless numbers of volunteers, donations and grants. We strive to help  local artists as well as educating and engaging the community in the arts. If you would like to be a part of our group in any way, click on our membership link for more detailed information.
